Ohai! Wing-It Vegan is on Hiatus until... well, I don't know. Wing-It might come back eventually, or not. Fickleness is a fickle thing.

Anyway, Wing-It remains available for all to see. And to the sneaky picture/recipe/blog post thieves: I'm on hiatus but I am not dead. Don't steal my stuff. Mkay?

Thank you all for visiting! Rock on!!

Happy Halloweegan!

Ahoy there! Yes, I am indeed alive. Alive but completely without any creative mojo! I tried and tried and tried to think of a few good Halloweegan treats, but the mojo is nowhere to be found! So instead, I've compiled a list of my favorite Halloweegan goodies since 2008. Will that do? :)

Before we get all creepy and spooky, I need to thank everyone who has poked me and checked on me during my blog hiatus. You guys are da bomb! [Cindy, I don't know how to contact you, so let me thank you publicly for checking on me and always being around! You rock! :)]

OK, let's get freaky!

And then I made them again for Halloweegan 2010!
I luves mah quinoa-stuffed Jack-O-Lantern peppers!
(Almost six months after I posted this, I remembered that this one wasn't a pepper,
it was a gold acorn squash. I haz the dumbz.)

Whoopie Pie Spiders! Creepy crawlies! Cutie crawlies?

Felt Coasters - Frankie
Some crafty, non-edible Halloweegan coasters!

And here is a complete (ish) list of all my Halloweegan posts, plus lots of links to more Halloweegan fun. That'll do, pig. That'll do.

I hope you all have a fun Halloweegan and a lovely holiday season! Please remember to link back to my blog if you decide to make (and blog about) any of my Halloweegan goodies. Kthxbai!

XGFX.org, Spanish Tortilla, and Second Chances

What's with all this frequent blogging, eh? I'll go back to being a lazy blogger soon, but first I want to share fantastical link with you. In case you've been living under a rock, yesterday was the grand opening of xgfx.org, which is an all vegan and gluten-free website created by three beautiful ladies!

A few of my favorite things about xgfx.org:

100 recipe links you should know about.

Gluten-free product reviews.

A gluten-free flour guide.

The community driven recipe section...

... where you can find a recipe for vegan chocolate-hazelnut butter! Yeah baby!

And since we're talking about the recipes, check out my humble contribution to the database - Spanish Tortilla!

Spanish Tortilla
I originally made this Spanish Tortilla (potato omelet)
for my guest post @ Go Dairy Free last month. Thank you again, Alisa!

Now go check out xgfx.org! It's an awesome site! And speaking of awesome, VegNews has apologized and promised to never use meaty pictures again. That's all most of us wanted! I'm all for second chances!
